'Charles was shy and studious, but Camilla found him interesting - and still does,' says royal expert
After getting married back in 2005, King Charles III and Queen Consort, Camilla ’s relationship has gone from strength-to-strength.
But while the couple may be celebrating nearly 20 years of marriage, the pair have shared a close bond since the day they met. What’s more, according to Angela, who is the author of Camilla: From Outcast to Queen Consort, Charles was initially quite shy around Camilla though found comfort in how she thought he was “interesting”.
But given that Camilla wasn’t born into an aristocratic family, Angela added that the Queen Consort’s status meant that her relationship with Charles was hindered.
