On Saturday, Diana's brother commemorated her death with a collage of photos and newspaper clippings about the late royal on Instagram. One article highlighted Diana's christening with a headline that read "Lord and Lady Althorp's third daughter christened," while a black-and-white photograph showed Diana as a toddler playing outside and pushing around a toy stroller in the yard.

Diana died from injuries sustained in a car accident in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel in Paris after being pursued by paparazzi. The princess had been vacationing in France with her new boyfriend Dodi Al Fayed, who also died in the crash, along with the driver of the car, Henri Paul. The only survivor of the wreck was Al Fayed's bodyguard, Trevor Rees-Jones., Spencer delivered the eulogy, serving as “the representative of a family in grief, in a country in mourning, before a world in shock.
