Prince Charles to virtually open 4,000-bed coronavirus hospital NHS Nightingale today after recovering from it himself
PRINCE Charles today hailed the "unbelievable feat of work" that saw a new 4,000-bed hospital opened in just nine days.
He told the crowd, which stood apart according to social distancing rules: "It is a spectacular and almost unbelievable fear of work in almost every sense."It is an example, if one was ever needed, that the impossible can be made possible.In the stirring speech, he added: "In this dark time, this place will be a shining light."
Charles experienced mild symptoms after falling ill but has already returned to royal duties - albeit virtually.who recently came out of isolation after recovering from the virus The hospital will start accept its first 19 patients tonight in Britain's battle against the killer bug.
