Drake Thomas, Coby Bryant, and Charles Cross named game captains.
The Seattle Seahawks have announced their game captains for their upcoming Week 9 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Linebacker Drake Thomas, safety Coby Bryant, and offensive tackle Charles Cross have all been named captains for this Sunday. This is the second time that Bryant and Cross have been named captains, with Bryant in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions, and Cross in Week 5 against the New York Giants. This will be the first captain nod of the season for Thomas.
He is currently third on the team in special teams’ snaps and has eight tackles on the season. Bryant is in his third year with the Seahawks after being drafted in the fourth round out of Cincinnati in 2022. Bryant was starting nickel cornerback in his rookie season but has moved to safety these last two years. Bryant has started the last two weeks at safety after Rayshawn Jenkins was placed on injured reserve. On the year, Bryant has 24 tackles, two passes defensed, and one interception.
