Misgendering, or referring to someone as a gender with which they do not identify, is considered highly offensive to members of the LGBT community.
Radio host Charlemagne the God grilled Caitlyn Jenner on Monday, saying Jenner’s support of President-elect Donald Trump makes it acceptable to misgender the famed Olympian.
Despite this, the host referred to Jenner as a man and accused her of being hypocritical. Charlemagne the God, whose legal name is Lenard McKelvey, added Jenner will never be able to escape her past as a “rich white male” no matter how hard she tries. “Well isn’t that something?” Lahren asked. “If you don’t support men in women’s sports, you are transphobic BUT you can demean @Caitlyn_Jenner and it’s fine because Caitlyn supports Trump?”
