BLUFFDALE, Utah — Charges have been filed against the manOn Dec. 31, officers with the Bluffdale Police Department found a man, identified as Jacob Holt Johnson, unconscious in a white jeep at a 7-11 gas station on Redwood Road.
When officers opened the truck, they saw an extension cord around her neck. The SLCDA's office said she was unresponsive and cold to the touch, with multiple bruises and lacerations to her head, arms, and legs. Detectives determined the crime happened at Johnson's home in Herriman and executed a search warrant.
Officers also found a bat on the kitchen floor with smudge marks "as if it had recently been washed."
