Staley indicated during his Zoom call with reporters on Monday that Bosa’s individual workouts were “going better in terms of opening up that window that’s still kind of in motion.” Staley also said, “We’re working through that. He looks good. It was good to see him on the sideline .” The Chargers hoped that the addition of Mack would ease some of the pressure focused on Bosa and give opponents a double-dose of standout edge rushers. Bosa’s long-term injury is just one of several significant ones to key players in a revamped Chargers defense this season.
