Chappell Roan was nominated in six categories at the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 2
The singer, 26, walked away with a total of one win during the Sunday, February 2, ceremony at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Roan received nominations in each of the major four Grammys categories — Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist — as well as in the Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance fields. This year marked the first time in Roan’s career that she was recognized by the Recording Academy.
Roan beat out Sabrina Carpenter, Shaboozey, Benson Boone, Doechii, Khruangbin, Raye and Teddy Swims for the award. In the Record of the Year category, Roan’s hit “Good Luck, Babe!” went up against The Beatles’ “Now and Then,” Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em,” Carpenter’s “Espresso,” Charli’s “360,” Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” and Swift and Post Malone’s “Fortnight.”
