Changing 'Sabah CM' to 'Premier' would reflect the equal position of the two Borneo states, says a native association.

The association’s president, Newmond Tibin, suggested that the Sabah state government table the matter at the state assembly in March for discussion and scrutiny. He said the association believed that the change would reflect the equal position of the two Borneo states as Sarawak has already changed the title to “premier”.

The change was made in February last year through an amendment to the Sarawak State Constitution. * Follow us on Instagram and join our Telegram and/or WhatsApp channel for the latest news you don't want to miss.* Do you have access to the Daily Express e-paper and online exclusive news?
