More than seven years on from its debut in Weekly Shōnen Jump, the global smash-hit manga series, Chainsaw Man, is coming to an end. Denji's devil-hunting journey began with relatively modest fanfare in 2018, after creator Tatsuki Fujimoto made a name for himself with the often disturbing, apocalyptic Fire Punch.
In the years since, Denji has become an instantly recognizable character within the world of anime and manga, and thousands of fans are currently standing by in anticipation of his story's end. Chainsaw Man has become a global phenomenon, especially after the recent record-breaking performance of the Reze Arc film in theaters, and it appears the series will be wrapping up for good at the height of its popularity. Chainsaw Man Chapter #232 Release Date and Time After some changes were made to Chainsaw Man's latest chapter, speculation that perhaps the series may continue in a Part 3 began within online communities. However, the official English Shōnen Jump X account appeared to confirm chapter #232 will be Chainsaw Man's last earlier this week. Chainsaw Man chapter #232 will become available on Tuesday, March 24th, at 11:00 AM EST, on the Manga Plus and Shōnen Jump online manga reading services. It's unlikely the title of the chapter will be revealed before then. Waugh Chapter #231, titled"Goodbye, Pochita", saw the lovable Chainsaw Devil use his power of erasure on himself, bidding Denji farewell and telling him he wasn't sure what would come next. The goodbye was an emotional one, as Pochita was the only surviving friend or family member that remained in Denji's life. Chapter #231 ended with a cliffhanger, cutting away from Pochita's last words to the shed in which Denji grew up. It's unclear how Pochita's self-erasure will impact Chainsaw Man's world, though fans won't have to wait much longer to find out. Will There Be a Chainsaw Man Part 3? Chainsaw Man Part 2 Ends on March 24th When Chainsaw Man Part 1 came to its conclusion in December 2020, confirmation of its second part came on the final page of chapter #97. Until its release, fans were under the impression the chapter would be the series' last. This time around, readers are hoping chapter #232 arrives with a similar final page, alerting them that it will simply be the final chapter of Part 2. Chainsaw Man Part 2 has been divisive among fans since its 2022 debut, but there remain countless fans who wish to see more of Asa Mitaka before the series reaches its end. Shōnen Jump has yet to confirm outright whether a third part is coming, though the language used in advertisements for the upcoming chapter suggests Chainsaw Man, and not just Part 2, will be ending. Chainsaw Man is arguably more popular than it's ever been, with MAPPA's anime adaptation stunning theater-goers last year. While there's quite a bit more of the anime to come, what appears to be the final chapter of Tatsuki Fujimoto's modern dark fantasy masterpiece will arrive this coming Tuesday, March 24th. 41 9.5/10 Chainsaw Man 10 stars 9 stars 8 stars 7 stars 6 stars 5 stars 4 stars 3 stars 2 stars 1 star Like Follow Followed TV-MA Animation Action & Adventure Sci-Fi & Fantasy Horror Supernatural Release Date 2022 - 2022 Network TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TVh, TVQ, TSC Directors Takeru Sato Writers Hiroshi Seko Cast See All Creator Tatsuki Fujimoto Streaming Service Hulu, Crunchyroll Studio MAPPA Powered by Expand Collapse
