WALNUT CREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Holmes County deputies said one man is dead and another is seriously hurt after back-to-back crashes early Wednesday.When the Jeep driver got out to check on the bicyclist, deputies said they were both struck by a second driver.
Jason L. Yoder, 30, was traveling westbound on an electric bicycle in the berm. According to deputies, he was struck when attempting a left turn and entering the path of a Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep driver, a 27-year-old man from Stone Creek, was checking on the victim as deputies said both men were hit by another vehicle. The sheriff’s office said that crash involved a Honda Accord driven by a 55-year-old man from Millersburg. He was not hurt.The 27-year-old is being treated for serious injuries at Akron General Hospital, according to deputies.
