Robotics will be a new elective class at Chagrin Falls High School next school year.
Starting in the 2025/2026 school year, Chagrin Falls High School will be offering a new Robotics Course as an elective.CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio -- At the December Chagrin Falls School Board Meeting, members approved the addition of Robotics to its high school curriculum. Currently offered as a club, the new course will allow students to earn credits from the course toward graduation.
The new Robotics course will introduce students in grades 9-12 to the fundamentals of robotics, engineering, and coding through the lens of the FIRST Tech Challenge competition. “On and off the field, students will develop STEM skills, engage in community outreach, practice engineering innovation, and build confidence to help them succeed,” said Rassi, describing the positive effects of the new course.
