Chad Kuhl pitched a three-hitter for his first major league shutout and the Colorado Rockies beat Los Angeles 4-0 on Monday.
When center fielder Yonathan Daza caught Freddie Freeman’s drive to end a game that took only 2 hours, 19 minutes, Kuhl pumped his fist and hugged Díaz.It was the 27th individual shutout in the history of hitter-friendly Coors Field.
