CEBU CITY, Philippines — The Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) Greywolves stamped their dominance in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) high school football tournament by
beating the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles, 4-1, in their championship match on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022, at the Cebu City Sports Center pitch.
The “Man of the Match” Carsten Pumareja scored a brace or two goals for DBTC, while Joseph Edgar Paredes and Joseph Kyne Garces each scored a goal in their lopsided win.Pumareja scored the first goal in the 19th minute and made it 2-0 for DBTC with his second goal in the 41st minute. Despite their efforts, DBTC was too much for the Magis Eagles after Paredes and Garces scored two consecutive goals at the 54th and 55th minutes, respectively to seal the victory.
