TikTok-approved CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion with SPF50 has just launched, and we’ve put it to the test on two different skin tones and types
TikTok produces some niche and sometimes, quite frankly, bizarre beauty recommendations, but one thing we thank the video app for is for bringing our attention to affordable skincare brands like CeraVe.
Now, in time for the upcoming heatwave, CeraVe has given the TikTok-loved product an update to feature an enhanced SPF50 protection. The new Facial Moisturising Lotion with SPF50, £15 here, is available to buy now with the same skin-loving benefits. It also boasts two new formula additions: niacinamide and vitamin E, to soothe skin and offer protection from city pollutants.
“The new formula itself is almost exactly the same as the original. It sinks in quickly, leaving a lovely sheen on the skin, but also not a typical ‘greasy sun cream’ look. I have a light skin tone and this didn’t leave any cast behind. All in all? I can smell TikTok success for it already.”
