It’s that time of the year for the Easter Bunny to be hiding eggs with candy for the kids to find, and Century Church in Pike Road held their 10th annual Easter egg hunt Saturday. It kicked off with the Easter Bunny flying in a helicopter and dropping 1,000 eggs to everyone down below, then they held multiple different Easter egg hunts for different age groups.
After the egg hunts were finished, kids were able to enjoy a petting zoo, inflatables, pizza and hot dogs, and even get pictures with the Easter Bunny himself. “For us, as a church, we planted here about 10 years ago, and we just want to see the community thrive. We believe that when the church loves on the community in the ways that we can, it only makes the community stronger. Events like this, we host all year long with lots of other community events where we can pour love out into the community, and make the community a place of vibrancy, activity, and a place where families feel loved, supported, and encouraged. It is such a beautiful thing to be able to do, and then the church obviously wants to see people come into contact with a close relationship with Jesus,” said Lead Pastor at Century Church, Patrick Quinn.
