Multiple dogs were rescued from the 22-year-old's Lancaster County home after he was charged this week.
A Lancaster County man was arrested this week after police say he recorded himself having sex with dogs in his care.
Uriah P. Groff, 22, had the videos saved on his cellphone when investigators searched the device on Monday, Pennsylvania State Police said. Groff was arrested Wednesday, the same day investigators searched his home on Upper Valley Road in Sadsbury Township. The Pennsylvania Society to Prevent Cruelty to Animals assisted in the investigation and rescued multiple dogs from Groff’s home on Wednesday, state police said. The dogs are awaiting a veterinary examination.Online court records show Groff was unable to post $50,000 bail and is being held at Lancaster County Prison. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 7 in front of Magisterial District Judge Raymond Sheller.
