Police arrested a Lancaster County man twice in the same day after they say he hit an occupied car with a tractor while under the influence of alcohol and then got pulled over the same day while driving a tractor under the influence less than 20 minutes after being released from custody.
Lantz tried to drive his tractor away from the scene, but the car that was hit – which was carrying a 35-year-old man, 45-year-old woman and a 2-year-old – followed him, according to a police report. Then, 17 minutes after being released from police custody, Lantz was pulled over driving a tractor under the influence again, a police report says. Police separately charged Lantz with DUI with a BAC of .16% or greater and no rear lights.
