No injuries were reported in the shooting but the man who was the target of the arrest warrant is still on the run, according to the District Attorney's Office.

The shooting happened when a group of deputies tried to serve an active arrest warrant on Victor Rivera on Dec. 14, according to Graf. Rivera drove toward multiple deputies, then backed up his pickup into a building before driving over a nearby curb, Graf said. In the NYPD’s case, there was a sharp reduction in the use of lethal force that has continued to fall to the present day.
