Adams County solicitor Molly Mudd said the county is fully cooperating with the investigation and that no county staff has been named as criminal defendants as of Wednesday.
Investigators served a warrant on Adams County Children and Youth Services this week, the county solicitor confirmed.
There were also several subpoenas issued to CYS staff members to give testimony to a grand jury, Mudd said. Only the Adams County District Attorney and state police have access to the affidavits of probable cause, which have been sealed by court order, Mudd said. The county does not have information on what prompted the investigation.
