Connor Stallions allegedly may have scouted Michigan State from the sidelines.
Earlier this week, photos began circulating alleging that Stalions was on Central Michigan’s sideline for the team’s season opener against Michigan State.
Central Michigan’s athletics director Amy Folan announced Tuesday the school is investigating the matter. “We became aware of these photos late yesterday and we are in the process of determining the facts surrounding them,” Folan said in a statement. “We have no further comment at this time.”, the credential worn by the man suspected to be Stalions read “VB”, which stands for visiting bench, and gives the holder access to the sideline areas between the 20-yard lines — where the coaches, players and other staffers stand, and where there is a limited amount of access.
The Central Michigan allegations mark the first time Stalions has been accused of being on the sidelines against a future Michigan opponent, as opposed to being in the stands.
