" We apologize for waiting to make the decision, but we were consulting with multiple weather sources and the forecast models changed drastically this morning," the school district said.

Wednesday's forecast is calling for showers, thunderstorms, and higher humidity. The potential for thunderstorms increases throughout the afternoon and evening. The showers are expected to dry up overnight, though some rain could linger into Thursday morning. Once those clear up, there’s plenty of dry time through the day and some afternoon sunshine, but a shower or thundershower can’t entirely be ruled out during the afternoon. Thursday's temperatures are expected to reach the lower to middle 80s.
