The project just west of Clarks Ferry Bridge will improve safety by eliminating left turns.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is reminding travelers that a safety improvement project consisting of the installation of center barrier to permanently eliminate left turns on Route 22/322 just west of the Clarks Ferry bridge in Reed Township, Dauphin County, will begin tonight.
Work may be performed Friday and Saturday nights if inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances impact the work schedule, a press release said.Center barrier consisting of raised curbing and delineators will be installed from the existing concrete barrier separating the eastbound and westbound lanes of Route 22/322 just east of the Route 11/15 interchange and extend east to the center concrete curbing at the intersection with Route 849.
