White attended and played at the University of Colorado from 2016-17 after starting in Division II basketball at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.The 30-year-old had quite the collegiate career as a Buffalo, being named to the First-Team All-Pac-12 in 2017 after averaging 18.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game. White was also named to the five-man All-Defensive Team.
