The Hoops are desperate to bring back the Canaries striker after a stunning loan spell in Glasgow
Brendan Rodgers has been clear in the fact he wants the Norwich City striker back as part of his squad on a permanent basis as he bids to defend his Scottish Premiership crown while also make a mark on the newly revamped Champions League this season. The Hoops will once again mix it with Europe's elite and the Northern Irishman wants the Canaries hitman as part of his plans for years to come.
The Daily Mail report that the Scottish champions are in discussions with the English Championship side as they look to thrash out a deal after seeing previous offers knocked back. They state a package in the region of £8million would push the deal over the line.
