Shay Reid is playing for Co Down's Premier squad at this week's SuperCupNI youth football tournament

A young Belfast footballer starring at this week's SuperCupNI is firmly on the radar of Celtic. Shay Reid is currently in action for Co Down at the international youth football tournament which runs until Friday.

Reid, who attends St Colm's High School in Twinbrook, trained with Celtic's U18 squad during his trial. It is understood Celtic were impressed by Reid and are keen to bring the talented teen back over to Glasgow. It was further evidence of the 15-year-old's scoring prowess, helping earn him plenty of attention from clubs across the water.
