Celtic supporters mock rivals Rangers with chant during friendly win over Man City win in America
Stateside Celtic fans lapped up the chance to see their heroes in America - and couldn't resist the chance at a dig at their rivals Rangers during their thrilling pre-season friendly win over Manchester City.
And after a storming start from Celtic which saw them take the lead through Nicolas Kuhn, the fans inside the Kenan Memorial Stadium at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, could be heard chanting "Are you Rangers in disguise". Kuhn went on to add another with Kyogo Furuhashi and Luis Palma also on target in a 4-3 victory over the English Premier League champions.
Supporters of both sides had to be evacuated around 90 minutes before the game due to a '"severe weather" warning, and those already taking their seats promptly left. The area had been subject to sporadic storms in the days leading up to the fixture and there had been a flash flood warning the day before.
