Celtic have been shown the full scope of the financial power their Champions League rivals hold over them as a new study reveals the value of each top table squad.
The Premiership champions hold a hefty budget in comparison to almost all their domestic rivals but the tables are turned in Europe. A report from SportingPedia looks at the market values of each participating team and analyses their respective shares of the group’s total value, with Celtic's quartet holding the lowest overall total out of the eight sections.

The highest valued team in Group E – which has the lowest value of all the groups – is Atletico Madrid with a total of €442m . The Spanish club holds 42 per cent of the group’s combined value, while Celtic contribute just 11.5 per cent at €121.25m .
