The "Think Twice" hitmaker, who last performed in the French capital for the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony, will play a series of concerts at the 40,000-capacity Paris La Défense Arena between September 12 and October 14. The run will mark her first since being diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome - a rare autoimmune neurological disorder that causes progressive muscle stiffness and painful spasms - four years ago. After years of battling health challenges, Céline says the love and support she’s received from her devoted fans has carried her through — and now she’s "stronger" and ready to return to the stage.Taking to Instagram on her 58th birthday, Céline said in a video, “Over the last few years, every day that’s gone by, I’ve felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love. You’ve helped me in ways that I can’t even describe, and I’m truly fortunate to have your support." The video continued, “This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life – I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again in Paris, beginning in September! I’m feeling good, I’m strong, I’m feeling excited – obviously a little nervous – but most of all, I’m grateful to all of you! I love you all and I’ll see you soon!”Teaser posters featuring the singer’s hit songs, including "The Power of Love" and "My Heart Will Go On," recently appeared around Paris, sparking excitement over her long-awaited comeback. French outlet La Presse reported that she was due to perform multiple nights at Paris La Défense Arena. Céline was previously due to perform at the venue in 2020, but the concerts were postponed – first due to the Covid-19 pandemic and then again because of her health struggles.LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 04: Celine Dion speaks onstage during the 66th GRAMMY Awards at Crypto.com Arena on February 04, 2024 in Los Angeles, California.
