2025 is off to a great start with engagement rumors (and confirmed engagements) and we love to see it! Out of the blue, we can’t help but be romantics at heart. After all, while many celebrity breakups have left us heartbroken, some other couples have us rooting for them like they’re our best friends. From Tom Holland and Zendaya to Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, there are some couples we just love to watch together.
So, of course, we love to keep track of their love stories, from their beginnings to their milestones. 2024, for example, saw so many of our favorite celeb couples become fiancés. Among them were Nina Dobrev and Shaun White, Tom Pelphrey and Kaley Cuoco, Halsey and Avan Jogia, just to name a few. Fingers crossed 2025 will be some more exciting engagements too! At the show’s season 6 finale premiere on February 12th, co-stars Tanner Buchanan and Mary Mouser sparked engagement rumors. Not only did they walk the carpet together, but they smiled showing off matching rings on their engagement fingers. Talk about a hard launch! Country star Lainey Wilson is engaged! The “Middle Of It” singer announced the news with a series of pictures of her longtime partner Devlin Hodges popping the question outside their home. “4x4xU forever ❤️,” she wrote in the caption. The former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback has been dating Wilson since 2021. The two kept their relationship hidden at first, taking it public on May 2023 at the AMC Awards. “When you know, you know,” he wrote on Instagram. “With you it’s been so obvious @princesssummerfall. Never did I imagine someone so special would exist, and you have shown me what true love is. Together, we will be on this journey forever on. Love you.”On behalf of the Philadelphia Eagles, NFL running back Saquon Barkley proposed to his longtime partner Anna Congdon. “I can’t be the athlete I am and have the success I have so in my career without the help of her,” he told ESPN in the announcement. “She’s been super helpful and always has my back, not only in football but throughout life there’s a lot that goes on. But as we continue to grow and mature and go through life together, we continue getting closer and continue to get even better.” Barkley and Congdon, who have been dating since meeting in 2017 at Penn State University, have two kids: daughter, Jada, born in April 2018, and son Saquon Jr., born in September 2022. Pop star Dua Lipa is also rumored to be engaged! The star popped the question sometime between Christmas and New Year’s in a “sweet” and “intimate” moment in one of her homes. While this engagement has yet to be confirmed, many reports think that Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are fiancés!. “Dua has had one of the best years of her career professionally and this is the cherry on the cake.” Actress Chloë Grace Moretz started her year off with a bang by confirming her engagement to longtime girlfriend Kate Harrison. Moretz broke the news with a sweet picture of their hands with new bling in the middle of an Instagram post. “The people, the places, our families, our health, our love. Wishing all of you a peaceful start to this new year ❤️,” the star wrote in the caption.
