Jeff Bianchi hosted smaller fireworks shows for the past two years for family and friends, and now with his new neighbor Al Pieczul on the Cedar Lake board, the duo decided to go all out and make it a display that can be enjoyed by the public as well.

Al Pieczul and Jeff Bianchi congratulate themselves on their creation of what they laughingly call the"Bang Bang Barge" a floating fireworks platform behind them.

Hosting a show on the north side will give those residents a chance to sit on the shore and enjoy the show without having to drive or boat to the other side of the lake to view. Part of the process also involved purchasing a Tritoon pontoon boat and took it down to the deck. The setup has fabricated stands for all the tubes to launch all the shells, and it’s something they can continue to use.

The duo said part of the fun for them is being on the shore pushing the buttons to launch the fireworks.“This is something that not only we can enjoy, but the people around Cedar Lake can,” Pieczul said.
