A police chase that started in Cedar Hill on Wednesday ended in Dallas with a shootout that left a suspect hospitalized.The chase ended on a Dallas service road right up against an apartment complex. Tenants there heard the exchange of gunfire, but it’s still unclear how many shots were fired in total between police officers and the suspect.New Ring video obtained by FOX 4 Thursday shows the spot where a police chase came to an end off Highway 67, just south of Dallas Executive Airport.
What ended in Dallas started just five miles away at a Cedar Hill apartment complex. Police say they initiated a pursuit off North Joe Wilson Road just after 8 p.m. Wednesday. Police have not said why they were pursuing the vehicle or what led up to it.During the chase, a Duncanville officer joined. Police say near Highway 67 and Wheatland Road in Dallas the suspect and officers exchanged gunfire. It’s still unclear how many officers opened fire.
