CeaseFirePA held a meeting in Chester County Monday night to discuss ways to prevent gun violence in schools following a recent deadly shooting at a high school in Georgia.
Only a few weeks into the new school year, and already the topic of school safety is on the minds of so many students, teachers, and staff.Residents and local law enforcement gathered in West Chester to discuss ways to prevent gun violence in schools.How can we keep kids safe at school? This was the question brought to the roundtable in Chester County Monday night.
But that’s especially top of mind for many parents and students after a school shooting in Georgia last week."Imagining the fact kids my age and younger have to go to school every single day and fear for their lives is just wrong on so many levels," said Rowan Mannon, a senior at Abington Friends, from Phoenixville.
