Cameron Carter-Vickers on Carl Starfelt Celtic exit as he talks up Maik Nawrocki qualities
Cameron Carter-Vickers has wished Carl Starfelt 'nothing but the best' as he talked up new defensive partner Maik Nawrocki.
New boss Brendan Rodgers had already brought in Nawrocki to the club in a £4million plus deal from Legia Warsaw and he was handed his first taste of football in Glasgow's east end alongside CCV in the 4-2 opening day win over Ross County. The former Tottenham man - a key player in this Hoops side - believes his new team-mate is a talented player and the connection between the duo will just take a little time gel.
On Nawrocki, he continued: “He’s a really good player, you can see in training the qualities that he has. It just needs time more than anything and it’s just about building up connections and me knowing what he’s going to do and him knowing what I’m going to do, and it’s building from there really. “It’s a bit of everything. Training is key and speaking to each other out on the training pitch and letting each other know where we want each other to be, and also games as well.
