The Columbus City School Board will meet Wednesday night in a special session at the district headquarters on State Street.
The teachers' union is Columbus is throwing heavy allegations against a school board member only weeks before the board of education votes on possible school mergers and closures for Columbus City Schools.
According to an alert from the district, the board will enter executive session to "consider the investigation of charges or complaints against a public official" and meet with the board's attorney to discuss the complaints. This stems from an incident last week where an internal board document was leaked to the public discussing how the board can control the narrative surrounding the pending closure and consolidation of several district buildings.
Ingles adds that the board's work in the district is too important for "divisive and absurd tactics."
