The Cultural Center of the Philippines through the Intertextual Division, together with the Pinoy Reads Pinoy Books , will hold a book discussion of RM Topacio Aplaon’s Topograpiya ng Lumbay. The said discussion will take place on November 19, 2022, 1:00 PM at the CCP Little Theater Lobby.
The discussion will be led by writers Danim Majerano and Gerome Dela Pena. The activity aims to introduce and discuss the book “Topograpiya ng Lumbay: Imus Novel 6” published by the University of the Philippines Press in 2020. Topograpiya ng Lumbay is the sixth of the seven Imus novels and recently won the National Book Development Board and Manila Critic Circle’s National Book Award for Novel in Filipino. The author, RM Topacio-Aplaon is a writer, painter, and musician from Imus, Cavite.
This activity is part of the CCP’s celebration of National Book Development Month. The book discussion is free and open to the public.
