CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cuyahoga Riverfront in downtown Cleveland will soon be home to one of the world’s largest training facilities.It’s expected to be a massive facility, with leadership stating it will be 210,000 square feet.
While the center will be the new practice facility of the Cavs, it will also be available to the community as well as athletes from all over the world. The $3.5 billion development plan will help bridge the gap between athletes and the community, and aims to make the city a global sports science and wellness destination, according to a release.
The facility is designed to embrace the river and continue the development of the city while giving residents a new sports medicine facility to utilize.
