However, the season has not been without its uneven stretches. Since December, Mitchell’s performances have been somewhat mixed, including a handful of tough shooting nights that contrasted with his usual offensive prowess.Even on an off night, though, Mitchell remained a focal point. He led the Cavaliers in scoring with 19 points, while also contributing four rebounds and three assists. The numbers may not have dazzled, but they reflected his continued responsibility as the team’s offensive component. But Mitchell missing out on a starting spot perhaps isn’t a shock to others too, as well as him. The Cavs have a 24-20 record, far short of expectations that were expected.
