The Cleveland Cavaliers and NBA unveiled plans to help vaccinate more Cleveland residents.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Cleveland Cavaliers and NBA on Monday unveiled plans to help vaccinate more Cleveland residents.

The team and league will offer incentives to get vaccinated, sponsor vaccine clinics, and provide tests and masks to the community, Mayor Justin Bibb and Cavs CEO Len Komoroski said during a Monday news conference, ahead of NBA All-Star Game weekend in Cleveland, Feb. 18-20. Bibb said the efforts are a step toward achieving his goal of getting 60% of Cleveland residents vaccinated by the end of the year. Only 46% are currently vaccinated, he said.
