Police have revealed the reason for a major presence spotted in Glasgow's Southside.
The force was called to a disturbance on Garturk Street in Govanill around 5.30pm on Thursday, March 23.
An eyewitness told the Glasgow Times they spotted around 8 vehicles in the vicinity and multiple officers patrolling the area.No injuries were reported following the incident.spokesperson said: “We were called around 5.30pm on Thursday 23 March, to a report of a disturbance in the Garturk Street area of Glasgow.
“Officers attended and a 21-year-old man has been arrested for being in possession of a weapon. No one was injured.”
