His successor Pope Francis will lead the funeral on Thursday in St Peter's Square before his remains are laid to rest in the tombs beneath the Basilica. Members of the public are able to pay their respects at St. Peter's Basilica from 9:00 a.m. on Monday and then on Tuesday and Wednesday.
