A Cathay Pacific flight from Boston was forced to return to Logan International Airport early Monday morning after smoke filled the cabin just 30 minutes after takeoff. According to reports, the pilot of flight CX811 declared a mayday shortly after departing for Hong Kong around 2:30 a.m. Passengers on board were reportedly alerted to the smoke by the cabin crew and instructed to remain calm. The aircraft made a safe landing back at Logan, where emergency crews were on standby.
