Cate Blanchett stepped out in Paris with a brand new short-short bob. Cut in by her longtime hairstylist, Nicola Clarke, the new style was suitably Parisian for the French excursion.
Cate Blanchett is out here looking like a rockstar right now. Attending the Armani Privé show in Paris on Tuesday, the Oscar-winning actor—who is 55—debuted a new, ultra-short bob as she waved to the crowds and photographers outside the Palais de Tokyo, where the show was held. Blanchett has swapped her signature mid-length lob for a jaw-grazing number, which sits a couple of inches above her shoulders and looks insouciant and cool.
Chopped in by Blanchett’s longtime hairstylist Nicola Clarke, the bob was swept back and featured tousled waves. And what it lacked in length, it made up for in volume. With her décolletage bare and an oversized pair of sunglasses perched on her nose, Blanchett was every inch the movie star in the City of Light. In fact, she embraced the famous Parisian approach to beauty—effortlessly polished, but without looking like you’ve spent hours achieving it.
