Evangille Lilly and Idris Elba with The Fourth Wing books
Summary A TV adaptation of the fantasy book Fourth Wing is currently in progress, raising questions about who will be cast to star as the book's many fascinating characters. Author Rebecca Yarros has announced the Empyrean series will span five books, with two currently available. In collaboration with Michael B. Jordan's Outlier Society, Amazon MGM Studios has secured the rights to adapt Fourth Wing and its sequel, Iron Flame, into a TV series.
Although this was used for manipulation purposes in Riverdale, Petsch's sweet and high-pitched voice would be perfect for Andarna in Fourth Wing. Petsch's voice, coupled with her proven talent for portraying compelling characters, makes her an excellent choice for bringing the charming gold dragon to life.
Idris Elba's movies and TV shows have consistently showcased his deep and captivating voice. It perfectly aligns with Tairn's century of wisdom and battlefield experience, giving an authoritative and commanding tone that embodies the dragon's no-nonsense attitude. Elba's voice, with its rich timbre and British accent, adds an extra layer of sophistication that would make Tairn a true character.
Throughout Riverdale, Apa adapts to the evolving nature of Archie's character. He navigates the transition from a more innocent, dreamy teenager to a more complex, sometimes brooding individual facing serious challenges. This showcases Apa's range as an actor and his ability to portray nuanced characters, which Dain could prove to be.
10 Alexander Ludwig as Jack Ludwig starred as Cato in The Hunger Games. Close It's hard to think of a better choice for a character that's all about hunting down and killing the protagonist than Alexander Ludwig, and that's all thanks to his frightening portrayal of Cato, the arrogant and lethal leader of the career tributes in The Hunger Games. Ludwig is excellent at embodying a menacing appearance on screen.
The downside might be that, despite Joseph’s youthful appearance, he is older than the target age range for Ridoc, who is only a second-year student. The casting director might want to go younger, with someone in their twenties, instead of someone approaching 40. As perfect as Lily would be for the role, she has also announced her desire to retire from acting, leaving her role in the MCU up in the air as well as any potential future projects if she decides to make that retirement permanent.

Close Adelaide Kane's portrayal of Mary, Queen of Scots, in the TV series Reign, demonstrates her talent for playing cunning and commanding characters. Mary's character displays a mix of arrogance, conviction, and strategic cunning, which aligns well with Mira's character, described in the books as being arrogant, hard-headed, and fiercely loyal to her loved ones.
The character isn’t so removed from Bailey’s most famous as the eldest sibling in Bridgerton, but the role is still different enough that Bailey could have fun with this take on a big brother. Of course, Bridgerton has allowed his star to rise significantly, so Bailey is likely in demand for a slew of other roles as well. He's also starring as Fiyero in Wicked, which will only see his star rise even farther.
