Casio Launches GShock 40th Anniversary Recrystallised Series; Starts From RM1,645
‘s very first watch, commemorating its 40th anniversary. The trio feature recrystallised, hardened stainless steel parts and, depending on model, modern features not offered by the original DW-5000C that was released all the way back in 1983.
Additionally, the ion plating on the watch’s rear case is presented in black, while the ones on the buckle and band loops are coloured in gold. There’s also the words “Project TEAM ‘Tough'” adorned on the dial, which is the name of the group of people who worked with G-Shock founder Ibe Kikuo to develop the DW-5000C.
The gold GMW-B5000PG, on the other hand, is mostly similar to its silver sibling. However, instead of titanium carbide, its stainless-steel recrystallised exterior and parts are applied with Ion Plating.
