Cash, cannabis, Audi and Range Rover seized after police swoop on city centre flat
A huge amount of cash - £270,000 in total - was seized by police in a raid on a flat in Manchester city centre early on Wednesday morning.
The seizure led police to a second address on Albion Street in the city centre, where the force said 'large amounts' of cannabis were found. A Range Rover sport and an Audi RS4 were also seized as part of the same operation. GMP said he was currently in police custody for questioning. The force shared images of the cash seized and the drugs.
"A large amount of money was seized in mobile safe boxes and in a cupboard. A further address was identified at an apartment on Albion Street where large amounts of cannabis was discovered.
