No new trial date has been set.
The judge presiding over the capital murder case against Casey Cole White has postponed the trial.
White, 39, is already serving a 75-year prison sentence that started in 2019 following a 2015 crime spree. He was found guilty in 2019 first-degree robbery and first-degree kidnapping and attempted murder among other charges. At the time of White’s arrest in 2020, Connolly said White had confessed to the murder. White’s attorneys have moved to quash any pre-trial statements.
