GEORGE TOWN: The case of a cardiologist charged with defying the movement control order (MCO) by continuing to jog after challenging authorities at a park has been fixed for case management on July 14.
Dr Ong Hean Teik, 61, who had challenged the authorities on the second day of MCO, had claimed trial in a Magistrate's Court here on March 30 to separate charges of obstructing public servants from discharging their duties.
The offence is punishable with a maximum of two years’ imprisonment, a maximum fine of RM10,000 or both, upon conviction.
