“The beginning part of the season was frustrating for me,” he said. “I want to be out there playing and helping the team as much as I can. The defender added: “Saturday was quite cagey stuff, I don’t think either team played great football. But I think we believe in each other as a group and we know we’ll keep working right to the end. Luckily enough for us we got the goal.
“He’s proved over the last six months or so that he can help the team. He’s a good guy to have around. I have been here three seasons now and we always tend to sign a lot of players. “We have two friendlies before the Copa America,” he said. “The squad has been announced for the friendlies and I think they might make a few cuts before the tournament squad.
