NRL: The 2024 NRLW Dally M team of the year has been announced!
South Sydney teenager Tyrone Munro stole the room at the Dally M Medal with an emotional speech paying tribute to his mother and uncle after accepting the Provan-Summons Medal.

The young winger then celebrated the performance with a throng of family members, who had made the trip to Accor Stadium to watch him play. “This award means so much to me — not just for the recognition, but for what it represents: the true spirit of our game.” Munro dedicated the award to his mother, saying that it was her lessons that inspired his rise to rugby league stardom.
